History of ABI Digital Solutions | Houston, TX

ABI Digital Solutions was founded in 1993 by Dan Henrichs.  Originally called Airbrush Images Inc. (because the print heads were LITERALLY airbrush nozzles), ABI Digital Solutions has evolved into one of the premier signage solutions companies in the country.

As digital print technology developed, the quality of digital output available to our customers grew dramatically.  What once looked great at nine dots per inch looked pretty sad compared to 72 dpi, and that looked terrible compared to 300 dpi.  Now we have printers that produce at an astounding 1200 apparent dpi and machines are still getting better and better.

This increase in production quality allowed for ABI Digital Solutions to branch into areas of production beyond just billboards.  Vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, trade show banners, point of purchase signs, wall murals, window graphics . . . you name it, ABI Digital Solutions is able to produce it.

Several years ago we also added a flatbed production printer into the mix as well as a digital router.  This gives us the capability to create some truly unique signs with custom shapes, and even three dimensional characteristics.

In 2008, ABI Digital Solutions paired up with the Houston Rockets as a corporate sponsor.  This has really turned into a fantastic partnership, as the Toyota Center has grown into a literal "showroom" for ABI Digital Solutions.  All the wall murals, hanging banners, backlit signs, and vehicle wraps at the Toyota Center have been produced by us.  Not to mention all the custom print projects, window graphics, unusual signs and more that we have created.

ABI Digital Solutions is also corporate partners with the Houston Dynamo, Rice University and the University of Houston.
